There are over 100 types of coffee plants, but most types of coffee are based on just two of them: Arabica and Robusta. Less common are Exelsa, Liberica, Maragogype or Kopi Luwak.
The three most common types of preparation are filter coffee, brewed coffee and espresso, with the latter being the basis for many other coffee variations. Espresso is very strong and is therefore only served in small cups of around 40 ml. Due to its high concentration, it is perfect for making coffee mix drinks such as cappuccino, latte macchiato, café au lait, americano and much more.
